How to Create a Dynamic Project
Click on the Projects icon
Click on Create a Project
Name your project and provide a description. Also, assign which access groups should have access to this project. Next, choose if you want this project to be static or if you want it to be dynamic. Dynamic projects are those which are dynamically updated with products that match a certain filter set. Static
projects are those that only contain the products that you have manually added to the project. The project is not updated with new products unless someone manually adds them to the project.
Click “Create Project.” Once the project is created, you can enter by clicking on the project folder.
Upon entering the project, you will need to set up your filter rules to start adding products to your dynamic project. The filters work the same as they do on the Products page.
You are able to filter on any field in PFL, with a variety of different conditional statements.
You are able to apply as many filters as needed to segment out the correct products for this project.
As new products are added, and existing products are edited, and they meet the filter rules of the dynamic project, those products will automatically be added to the project. If a product is edited and no longer matches the filter rules, then that product with automatically be removed from the project.
Product cannot be removed from the dynamic projects, because as long as they match the set of filter rules, they will continue to be added back.
